Job Title: Marketing Manager
Department: Business Development and Marketing
Location: Edinburgh
Responsible To: Business Development Director
Purpose: To manage and execute the firm’s marketing strategy in line with the firm’s strategy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for developing firm’s marketing strategy and building the brand
• Responsible for developing and refreshing the intranet site
• Sourcing sponsorship opportunities which will assist with business development and brand awareness
• Responsible for designing and implementing the firm’s internal communications strategy
• Manage firm-wide market research initiatives measuring firm, business and people perceptions
• Co-ordinating the firm’s media relations campaign including the management of the PR agency
• Overseeing firm’s website and updating site regularly
• Coordinating all design requirements for the firm and liaising with external agency
• Creating and managing the firm’s seminar series
• Compiling the firm’s submissions for Legal 500 and Chambers
• Communicating firm’s key messages both internally to staff and to external audiences and assisting with “we deliver” campaign and regularly contributing to weekly “Beat” e-bulletin
• Developing strategic marketing initiatives to support each business unit working closely with Heads Of Departments and unit heads
• To produce the annual corporate brochure, liaising with Managing Partner, Chairman and BDD
Health & Safety
• Comply with the firm’s health & safety policy at all times, taking on board as an employee your duty of care in the work place.
